There are six states you can expect to potentially see once you’ve sent out an Identity check. They are;
Pending: Awaiting completion.
This state will be visible when you have sent out a Credit check to an individual but they have not yet completed it.
This state will be visible when the individual has submitted their information but we have not pulled the result yet from our provider.
Accepted: Credit report has successfully been generated.
When the Credit report has been successfully generated, you will be able to then review the individuals results. The check pulls back:
- A credit rating out of 5
- Public information such as Bankruptcies, Insolvencies, Court Judgments
- Address Links
- Associated Connections and Other Names
- Electoral Roll
- Notices of Correction
You can find out the credit rating bands our provider TransUnion use here.
Rejected: This person could not be found, unable to generate credit report.
This state will be visible when no match has been found. You will then need to decide whether to go back to the individual to request more information from them or to go to your MLRO to get advice on this.
Refer: An exact match could not be found, unable to generate credit report.
This can occur when the specific individual you have ran the check on could not be found but there could be someone potentially with the same surname found relating to the address entered.
You may need to go back to the individual to question them on this or request more information off of them.
Failed: There was a problem contacting our Credit report provider.
This state occurs when there is a technical error. If you see this when reviewing an individual's result, you will need to get in touch with us at email@example.com, or via the live chat, so that our support team can go in and re-submit this for you.
